Attack 2025

Attack 2025 was a success once again, thanks to our amazing volunteers who set up and ran the event. While visitor numbers and profits were down due to the economic squeeze, it was still a fantastic event.

Please note that next years event is booked for the 18th and 19th of July. Make sure to mark it in your calendar so you can be there!

Changes to Elected Members

Each year, we elect three key positions: Chairman, Secretary, and Treasurer. Typically, the incumbent is re-elected, and everything continues smoothly. However, this year, we face some changes.

Sadly, Nathan is moving south at the end of the year, leaving a significant gap. We need to appoint a new Club Secretary at our AGM in October, so please consider standing for this important role.

We cannot operate effectively without a Secretary, so it’s crucial that someone steps forward. Additionally, I will be completing my four years as Chairman. As our constitution restricts appointments to four years, we need someone new to lead our club. Please think about who might be suitable for this role. If you’re interested in leading our club, don’t hesitate to volunteer and help shape our future direction.

Communication Channels

Facebook has been a useful tool for engaging with our wider membership (585 members), but it isn’t ideal for club members to engage with one another. The Committee has discussed using WhatsApp instead and has already adopted it for organizing keyholder rotas.

We would like to expand this with different sub-groups for organizing games, campaigns, etc. We will also have a primary group for all members to share thoughts and ideas.

We would appreciate your suggestions to help make this work for everyone.
